Yellow Balau Collection

We are proud to extend our GardenWood Furniture line with items made from Yellow Balau hardwood. The richness and durability of this hardwood is combined with designs exuding comfort, style and quality for year-round outdoor use.

These products are designed and manufactured to the highest quality standards to ensure years of enjoyment. Many are constructed using true mortise and tenon joinery which makes the furniture extremely strong. Joints are secured with weatherproof glue and many are also pegged for additional strength. All hardware in the collection is weather-resistant anodized hardware. Each piece is finished with a tinted, penetrating oil, enhanced with anti-fungal inhibitors.

Yellow Balau is a heavy hardwood that is native to Southeast Asia where the harvesting is strictly regulated to maintain a plentiful supply. This wood is extremely strong, durable and resistant to decay. It will weather to a silver-gray color when exposed to the elements.
